About SCHI

The purpose of the Student Collaborative in Health Informatics Collaborative (SCHI) is to develop a network of graduate and undergraduate students as a forum for communication and sharing of ideas, and a network for collaboration between students and health informatics stakeholders. To enhance skills and the transfer of research knowledge between students, academics and industry practitioners, we aim to develop a student/academic track within relevant existing conferences, virtual and face-to-face, where none currently exists.

In the fourth year as an organization, SCHI plans to return in 2008 with conference events, including a Student Symposium building upon the features from last year's e-Health 2007 Conference Virtual Student Symposium.
