SCHI is currently pulling together the work from the last e-Health Conference in Vancouver.  More details about future SCHI events will be coming this fall 2008.

For those interested in attending the Medicine 2.0 conference in Toronto, please see below information on obtaining a discounted studentconference rate:

  

Please be advised that there is a discounted registration rate available for
students and non-funded participants, which is $150 (this basically covers
our costs for catering).
Please spread the word among the students you know and anybody else who
wishes to participate but for whom the regular registration rate is
prohibitive..
The process to register with this special rate is as follows:
1. pay $150 by credit card at
http://www.medicine20congress.com/pay.php - enter "special rate discount for
[YOUR NAME]" as description 
2. fill in the registration form at
http://www.medicine20congress.com/registration.php clicking the waive
button, enter something like "special rate $150 paid on [DATE]" as reason
This rate is only available until August 15th.

The call for abstracts for the Student Symposium in Health Informatics/eHealth is open! Please click on the corresponding link on the left of the page. Registration for participants (both inperson and virtual) will be opened in early March 2008. *UPDATE*: Students registered for the e-Health Conference 2008 may attend the on-site Symposium FREE OF CHARGE.

Important Dates:

  • March 1st, 2008: Submission deadline for abstracts
  • March 21st, 2008: Confirmation of Acceptance (by phone or email)
  • April 20th, 2008: Submission of Slides for accepted abstracts
  • May 4th, 2008 from 9:00AM-4PM PST: Student Symposium hosted at e-Health 2008 Conference in Vancouver, BC
